About
Theresa Giannino & Gone to the Dogs
Hi, I’m Theresa!
I became a dog trainer because of my crazy, wonderful yellow Lab, Milo. When Milo came in to my life I realized that even though I had dogs all my life, I never trained one. I decided to enroll us in a six week basic training course. I soon realized that this training was just scratching the surface.
The training center was looking for interns and I applied. I was blessed to be accepted. After interning for a few years, I realized how much I loved dog training. I became a certified professional trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy in 2015, and started Gone to the Dogs full time that fall.
Sixteen years ago I took in a stray dog (Milo) and wanted to give her the best possible life. However, it was Milo that completely changed my life, and all for the better.
Summary:
In August 2015, I graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy (KPA) Dog Trainer Professional program, I am a KPA Certified Training Partner (CTP).
My training center is located at 6 Bourbon Street in Peabody, behind In the Zone, just off of Lowell street next to Lucky Dogs Daycare. I offer group classes as well as private sessions.
I’m based on the North Shore of Massachusetts and offer private training sessions in your home as well as at my training center.
